Monnickendam of England is a world leader in the diamond cutting industry. In 1966, our development of new techniques in the cutting industry were rewarded with Britain's highest business honour "The Queen's Award To Industry" by Queen Elizabeth II. Our purpose is not simply to cut stones, but to give them life.
After examining each stone individually our designers create an image, and only then, do they begin transforming the stones into round brilliant-cut, oval-shaped, pear-shaped, marquise-shaped, heart-shaped or emerald shaped works of wonder. Indeed, we have the ability to transform gemstones into brilliant works of art. It is our technology that has expanded the realms of diamond cutting, thus giving birth to the term "brilliant white."
